About me
Hi, I’m Taylor—your maker, designer, and all-around craft enthusiast! Crafting has always been a part of my life since childhood, but like many, I drifted away from it when responsibilities and work got in the way. I am a neuroscientist and before learning how to crochet, I was carrying out my PhD and subsequent Postdoctoral research into psychedelics. Fast forward to lockdown: I suddenly found myself with extra time and a need for a creative outlet. That’s when I taught myself how to crochet, and honestly? I fell in love.
Quirky fact: My very first crochet project was a coronavirus amigurumi. Yep, I crocheted (or at least tried – it was my first project) a tiny yarn virus!
What started as a hobby quickly became a passion, and I’ve been hooked ever since (pun intended!). When I’m not crafting, I’m dreaming up new designs that blend style, functionality, and fun—because handmade should feel modern and personal. Now, I share modern crochet patterns, DIY projects, and adorable pet accessories to inspire makers of all levels.
